Exceptional
The hotel is in an excellent location. Although they kindly warn in advance about potential construction noise during the day, we didn’t hear a thing, The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Both the room and the overall hotel design are unique, stylish, and full of character. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and always happy to help with anything. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a truly amazing experience!

Very nice boutique hotel in the city center! It is close to everything and you could walk anywhere in Hamburg. The Junior Suite was quite spacious and the hotel gives you a cosy feeling that feels like home.
A bit expensive for what it offers plus the pillows where really really soft. Had to ask 4 times for an iron and some staff at the reception were not fluently speaking English.

Excellent breakfast and really nice and helpful staff. A very good location for the old town and the water fronts. Really liked the honesty policy for drinks and snacks available in the dining area.
The noise from the building site was not ideal including some low level noise (generators?) at night. But not the hotels fault and we were glad to be on the 6th floor way from the worst of it.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. It was pleasant having a pre dinner drink in their reception lounge. A bonus being able to do some laundry.

The hotel has been renovated to honor Helmut Schmidt and took me down memory lane (down to his coat and hat hanging near the front desk and soft music from the 60s and 70s). The facilities are modern and our suite was spacious; furnished with large, comfortable chairs and two tables. I recommend the breakfast buffet and the largely complimentary evening meal which is only 7.5 euros per person. The hotel has a nice selection of wines and beers and an inviting lobby that invites lingering.
