My wife and I , we had a good time at the facility thank to Mr. Kirsh. Er is very friendy but you do do not see that when you meet him the first time. He took a little bit time to warm up. Ein hanseatische Person halt! He is very responsive, you need something , you ask him for it. He will promptly satisfy your needs. The appartment is very clean and spacious , and close to the metro and stores.Very Happy about our stay in this facility. We will be there next year. We already talked to some friends about this facility. We highly recommend it to anyone. We thank again Mr. Kirsh. Emmanuel and Katrin K.

Big room for 3, lots of light, fully. Supplied kitchen. Netflix a bonus. Free laundry. Groceries, Ubahn, and shopping close by.
53 stairs up to top floor, needed instructions in English and German for laundry.

Place is in good location, train to the city within 5 minutes to walk, airport 10 minutes to drive to airport. Rooms big enough and comfortable, in the kitchen you have all you need.
The owner does not speak English and was totally unfriendly. We had to change rooms last day without any earlier agreement. He said - move out otherwise.

We stayed in Flat 11 (of 12), on the top floor. It was a spacious studio flat with separate bathroom & hallway. Very clean, well appointed with plenty of storage space and enough cookware to prepare basic meals. Less than 5 minutes walk to the U-Bahn and with a local 'express' supermarket too by the station. We arrived late (22:30) but this was not a problem, the keys had been left in a safe outside with instructions sent by SMS earlier that day. Despite the negative comments below, we'd difinately stay again!
Communication was lacking. This is a bit disconcerting when a EUR100 deposit is requested by PayPal and then the balance in cash on arrival. Das Nest does not accept card payments! It did feel like a scam but many other guests also reported the same with their reviews appearing genuine, not faked or 'bot' written.

Comfortable and clean. Nice facilities and homely.
Some tea and coffee would’ve been nice - the kitchen had no supplies. Soap/shampoo was a bit sparse. Communication with the host wasn’t great. We had to do all the chasing regarding arrangements to gain access. The number provided in their initial “welcome” message didn’t answer. They didn’t acknowledge any correspondence via the Booking.com portal. They sent one message asking for the deposit via PayPal and didn’t acknowledge receipt and didn’t reply when we advised of a plane delay and sought alternative check-in arrangements. Cash only seemed a bit dodgy too.

Be mindful of the stairs Check in and check out are very informal, some people might feel insecure about that Weird service, very few words and only German

Really nice apartment with plenty of storage, cozy and comfortable and having somewhere with a balcony was great. Subway station and bus stops a couple of minutes away was great for getting around the city
