The apartment was spotless and very well designed. The breakfast was solid. The location is great with excellent connection to public transport and a short walk from the waterfront. The staff was fantastic: nice, helpful, great attitude towards children.

Location is great. From there all the main interest points you can reach by foot. Our room windows were not into the main street, so it also was silent.

Location was perfect, room was spacious, staff was very kind. Free coffee whenever you want and also they provided us with an umbrella which saved our days in rainy Hamburg, thank you very much for that!
I forgot 3 boxes of chocolate, i understand they don't keep the groceries and i respect that but our luggages were still in the hotel i wish someone had made a contact through booking.com but it's not that big of a deal. we loved staying there and hope to visit again in the future. we're also suggesting it to all our friends.

This is first and foremost a service apartment and therefore the price of the stay at high end hotel rates is utterly unacceptable. There are no daily cleaning services, added cost of a limited breakfast, rooms are kept in a poor condition, no change of linens and we are expected to do our own dishes and take out the trash.
The lady at the reception was also extremely rude, unprofessional and sarcastic when we requested for a change in rooms - the church next to us would constantly ring every 15min early morning and through the night - and she said we could use earplugs. In addition, they were not even able to provide umbrellas and also were of no help when we informed that the AC unit was not functioning- they shrugged it off.
Obviously the Citadines group around the world have better standards and our stays have been much better hence we booked this place. Unfortunately, a very regretful decision and an overall miserable stay for us. It would be better if the offerings were clearly mentioned and the pricing adjusted so as to not mislead customers into booking a place that only functions as a service apartment when it markets itself as a hotel. One of the worst stays ever.

Great location. Spacious room. Spotlessly clean. well equipped kitchen and lots of clothes storage . Iron and hairdryer supplied. Air Conditioning. Lovely big windows which could be opened fully. Quiet despite on a busy road. Be mindful -beside large church with church bells ringing every hour .

Well located accomodation, right next to the St. Mikael's church. The rooms were clean, AC functional. The parking in the basement is a bit tight for big cars, and a bit expensive. But, its good to have it. The stay itself was good, confortable beds. The sofa-bed was not that great, but, nothing to complain about. We could hear the church bells, but that was not disturbing as such. Very close to public transport and around 12-15mins walk from Rathaus - so, location is really good. Check in was smooth even though we arrived close to midnight.
Check-out was not smooth - the staff at reception kept insisting that we had to pay extra for breakfast though we had not taken one - apparently someone had signed it against our room. However, after a few minutes of argument, he realized that the signature was linked to another room..

The free drinks were really convenient, and the room was spacious.
The breakfast was awful. If you’re a tourist, I’d definitely recommend not including breakfast, as you can find much better options outside the hotel. One of the staff members was really nice, but the other didn’t understand what was being asked when I requested a proper business invoice. It took a long time, and even then it was difficult to explain what was needed, it felt like he didn’t fully understand how the process works. It’s also worth noting that both the rooms and the hotel itself are quite old and outdated. This wasn’t a major issue for me, the room was clean and had everything I needed, but it could matter to some guests. As for the location, it’s not very convenient when it comes to public transportation. It works well if you’re walking and the weather is good, but that can be questionable, since the weather is often not great.
