The location is creative and feels very cozy and inviting. There is love in details. They have lots of games and areas to socialize.
Staff: I understand that the hotel has a very modern and relaxed concept and is not overly formal. However, the staff wear casual clothes and caps, which makes them difficult to recognize as staff members. During breakfast, some staff members use their phones. They explain to elderly guests where they can get coffee, but do not take the time to actually show them, while at the same time spending time on their phones. In my opinion, this comes across as a little unmotivated and too casual. I am paying a mid-to-high price for the stay, so I think it is reasonable to expect a certain level of hospitality. There is often no “Good morning,” “Moin,” smile, or any other kind of acknowledgment when passing staff members. In my opinion, this does not leave a good impression. My suggestion: Keep the relaxed atmosphere, but perhaps introduce team hoodies, shirts, or caps so that staff members are easily recognizable. I would also recommend some basic hospitality training. A simple “Good morning” or a friendly offer to help can make a big difference, especially compared to being ignored while trying to figure out how the self-service system works.

Friendly and very helpful staff
They gave us a free upgrade but there was alot of noise from outside at night and it was hot so we needed the Windows open. We asked to change our room back to M and they agreed. We slept much better!

The staffs are very friendly. The location is great, with several supermarkets nearby.
There is no air condition during the summer. My room is facing the west and south with the big window. It was super HOT during the whole day. I can not sleep well even with the fan. And The room is not sound-proof. You can hear everything clearly from the corridor and next room.

The lobby area and Werkstadt neighbourhood is nice
My room had only a window in the hallway facing the wall and neighbors. Most of the walls including the bathroom were black so it was really dark and moody. All the lighting is harsh. So you are blinded either by darkness or by harsh lights. Lack of simple things like kettle or a small table in the room

Reception staff extremely friendly. Hotel is very pet friendly. Beds were comfortable. Nice honor bar system. Cool location close to nice pubs/restaurants.

Wonderful
staff are super friendly, the facilities are great for families - a trust system of drinks and snacks, a place to hang and play board games, even table tennis.
the location is not that central, but there are bicyles to rent and a subway station nearby that leads straight to wherever you may need to go
