Nice staff, very nice and clean rooms that re an excellent size and well priced. Lovely breakfast and great location. Fantastic pool area that was very clean and due to the size of the house, quite quiet Overall - excellent
Only reason it loses a mark is we messaged before our stay and were told we could park our motorcycles in one of the garages. Upon arrival we were told there was only room in the garage to park 2. As we had booked for 6 people it would have been obvious that it was at least 3 motorcycles. As such we had to park on the uneven gravel car park which wasn't ideal so 1 mark off for this.

Everything was really great! Staff was welcoming and pleasant, the room was really comfy, spacious and clean, with a nice balcony and view. The furniture felt pretty new and modern, and different options for ambient light was a nice plus for the evenings. It felt super good for the money. Breakfast was also really tasty, and a lot to choose from. The location itself is good and quiet as well, great place for wanderers. Thanks a lot!
Wi-fi is a bit slow; however you wouldnt be able to find a better one in the area anyway, I feel.

When we arrived, the welcome by the family running the place, set the scene for the whole weekend. We felt welcomed. I have been to Hahenklee several times before but stayed elsewhere. This is a small and quaint hotel. We were unable to use the sauna due to the Covid restrictions. The breakfast was perfect and the staff very helpful. We went to Harz for riding our road bikes. We could keep them in the garage underneath which was a bonus. I will return and stay again.
It was fine. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I am glad to experience a warm family running a small hotel. It rained on Saturday evening and Sunday but the operators of the hotel are not at fault here :-)
