This hotel is set in a quiet forest in the Hahnenklee district of Goslar, in the Harz Mountains. Berghotel HARZ offers a terrace. The homelike rooms all include a flat-screen TV, a desk and a private bathroom. Some offer a balcony with mountain or garden views. Free WiFi is available in all areas. A full buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the rustic-style restaurant, where a varied selection can be enjoyed. We have our Hexenlounge lounge with a terrace, you can also buy drinks here. The Berghotel HARZ is an ideal base for hiking, cycling and motorcycling here in the Oberharz (Upper Harz) region. It was conveniently located and we had a spacious family room.
The pool was fairly chilly and the facilities were not super clean. They seem to be short on staff.

The Rooms was clean and had all you need. Even a electric water heater was in the Room. Staff was kind and helpfull

Very Good
Good location in front of the see (with railway tracks between but not noise at all). Exceptionally good breakfast (really worths to take it)
The hotel has a new building and an old one. The old is out of date. The cleaning can be improved (sand on the floor and some stains on the sheets)

Very nice breakfast. The room was OK, nothing fancy, but it did the job. Nice with the garden, where you could relax and enjoy the sun. It's smart with the self-service check in, if you arrive early or late. And nice with the opportunity to heat water in the room.
In general, the hotel seems a but worn down. It could use some TLC. The same could be said about the outside area. Old run-down chairs. It's a bit of af bummer, that there is an advertised restaurant, and it apparently is permanently closed.

The hotel is located close to the center, everything is close. Sauna and swimming pool help with raining weather. In the garden you can drink a coffee. Staff is really helpful. We had great time there
water in the swimming pool was a little bit cold
