Very friendly staff, clean rooms, great parking space.
The heating system in my room was not working and it was very cold in the room. Unfortunately nothing could be done to solve this problem. I think they are going through a renovation therefore there might be some technical issues.

Close to tram.
Everything was old and a little bit broken. Reception desk was difficult to communicate with. The room check in delayed about an hour. We had to wait and ask several times if we could check in. Not really pleasant. No discount or apology was offered. Very overpriced.

The room was newly renovated and had views over the gardens
There was no AC. I wasn’t told this before arrival. Had I known this I would have cancelled and stayed elsewhere. I paid €750 for 3 nights in an unbearable hot room.
I contacted the desk multiple times to request to have the AC fixed. On the second day I was told the new AC hadn’t been fitted yet.
I contacted the property following my stay but didn’t hear anything back.

I was there for just one night. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The location is ok-ish given the fact that Gelsenkirchen is a small city. 15-minute walk from the city center is manageable.
The hotel is a bit old. The room is not clean enough, found hair on my bed sheet. Also strong room freshener smell when I checked in.

Staff at reception were really nice and helpful - especially the lady with the blonde hair - she’s was helpful, funny and welcoming! Our room on the 15th floor looked very nice, it had been recently refurbished and a kettle had been put in our room which was great - location good for transport to arena
No air conditioning- it was 30 degrees outside and with no air conditioning the room and whole hotel was so hot it was nearly unbearable- we did have a fan but that didn’t really help - we also left balcony door open which attracted wasps and didn’t help with lowering temperature, it’s a shame as the hotel has fantastic potential but no air conditioning is a huge let down especially after a Rammstein concert - we did find previous guest rubbish in the room but overall it was clean - getting room cleaned was hard - we only managed it once- having the sign out by 6am was not easy - breakfast was okay - no toaster which is odd but what was there was tasty
