Great location, clean, updated and fun decor. Large room, good air conditioning, very comfortable accommodations.
As we were going to bed, a group of young teen minors were running through the hallways and banging on our hotel room door at 10 pm at night. This happened at least three times. My husband notified the front desk and he was told that the children were dining room guests and that the hotel staff could not do anything about it. We found this outrageous, as they had identified that were with a party in the dining room, so it would seem the hotel staff could easily notify the parents. We were very disappointed in how this was handled.

Ik zou kunnen zeggen dat de kamer leuk is ingericht (als een boutique hotel, wat het niet is voor alle duidelijkheid), dat de bedden goed waren en dat er parking is (met laadpaal) voor een erg redelijke prijs. Maar ik ben het zo beu dat hotels zo vaak de basis vergeten: een stille kamer, waar je 's nachts ook effectief kan slapen. Daar betaal je toch uiteindelijk voor?! Er is totaal geen geluidsisolatie, de muren lijken van karton, de kamerdeur heeft een een kier van een halve centimeter, zelfs als die dicht is, luide waterleidingen van de andere kamers, naast en boven je. Ongelooflijk vind ik dat: ze vragen de volle prijs, maar je doet er geen oog dicht!
Dit is een heel druk hotel. Dat heb ik meteen gemerkt van bij de aankomst. Ik had een parkeerplaats gereserveerd en er was me op voorhand gevraagd om de wagen eerst voor de deur te parkeren, dan in te checken en vervolgens de wagen in de ondergrondse parking te zetten. Het probleem is dat ze dat tegen iedereen zeggen; het gevolg was 1 grote chaos voor de deur.
Meteen na aankomst op mijn kamer merkte ik dat er heel veel lawaai was. Er was luid gebabbel en geschreeuw op de gang, in de kamer naast me en op andere kamers. Dat was rond 18u. Toen ik rond 22u terugkwam van het avondeten, was het gelukkig rustiger, maar ik hoorde wel heel duidelijk de televisie en het gepraat van het koppel in de kamer naast me. Rond middernacht gingen die mensen slapen, zodat ik eindelijk ook kon slapen. Tenminste, dat dacht ik. Een half uur later kwamen twee heel dronken mannen toe van de andere kamer naast me. Eerst luid geroep op de gang. Vervolgens lieten ze hun kamerdeur openstaan terwijl ze luidkeels met elkaar en met iemand aan de telefoon bleven praten. Ik ben opgestaan en hen gaan vragen om stiller te zijn, waarop ze snel de deur dichtgooiden. Terug op mijn kamer bleek dat ze (uiteraard) niet stiller gingen praten; het leek wel alsof ze op mijn kamer zaten. Ik ben naar de balie gegaan om een andere kamer te vragen; maar wat bleek: daar was niemand meer. Er is 's nachts geen permanentie van de staff! Er ligt enkel een briefje met een telefoonnummer voor noodgevallen.

The staff was super kind and the breakfast was good.
The beds were way too soft. Our room wasn’t ready an hour past check-in time. We appreciated the air conditioning but it wasn’t working.

Lovely staff
Along with all the restaurants, coffee bars and ice cream parlours we tried in Fussen, there were a lot of flies. We couldn’t eat outside, although many people did.
We tried to overcome with a small table fan and some insect repellent but think restaurants should have more deterrents.
