Spa - freshly renovated, very good ! big hot sauna, 2 big swimmings pools ! Room- not new but all clean and cosy, Breakfast 9/10 !

Well maintained but somewhat outdated facilities, particularly our room. Staff was fine, but I felt that more training is needed.

The location was lovely, the spa and wellness area was relaxing, the breakfast was nutritious and filling and the restaurant was also fantastic. The employees were very friendly as well. The room was spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the balcony and view.
I didn’t like the shower. The water pressure was not high enough and the temperature changed quite a bit. However, it was nothing that dampened my stay. I would absolutely stay here again!

Very Good
The hotel is located within easy reach to Fuessen and the King's Castles. There are also lots of cycling routes in the area. The en suite room was clean and spacious. While the breakfast buffet was vast and excellent, the dinner choice and quality was not and in my opinion was overpriced. The swimming pools and surroundings were clean and offered nice views of mountains and the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel feels very outdated:
- carpet on the floors
- very bright lid bar area and hallways
- very long and ugly corridors
- pool area doesn’t resemble the pictures at all!
- restaurant is completely different then on the pictures. We booked the hotel for the restaurant because it looked nice. It dit not, it is a very brightly lid and not fancy looking, massive dining hall.
- Pillows are the very worst I ever ever had
- staff leaving every service door open
- grumpy staff at omelet station

All aspects were excellent, location with good parking, the staff friendly and helpful and restaurant manager made you very welcome with food being good.
The pillows were very soft and the single style quilts always annoying.

The location and the views from the hotel and the outdoor restaurant are beautiful. The room was clean and spacious the only slight disappointment was that I thought I had paid for a room with a balcony in the belief there was a lake view but I do not think any of the rooms had a lake view so it was my mistake. The spa area and the 2 pools are great and I was particularly impressed that the outdoor pool was heated. There is a good sunbathing area. Friendly staff especially in the bar and restaurant and breakfasts were good. Plenty of parking on site. Loved the location and the Old Town of Fussen.

Location and Spa and restaurant staff, and the suite size.
For a four stars facility, I expected a better service in terms of availability of bell boys to help with the suitcases, availability of allocated parking per room number.
A lot of info or menus did not have any language other than German which made it a little bit hard sometimes for us to understand.
