We were surprised to find that the bathroom in the Family Room we booked had a glass door and the shower had a glass door as well so everyone in the room could see whoever was in the shower. This was my first encounter with an open shower concept so we were taken off guard. We had a group of 4. My adult son, my adult niece and a family friend. We would never have chosen this room had the "no privacy shower" been listed in the description. The picture has a shower curtain which must have been an old picture. The manager thought there was a shower curtain when we spoke so it must have changed recently. When I spoke to the young man working at the desk with sort of slicked back black hair, he did not acknowledge whatsoever that this would be an uncomfortable or surprising situation. He met my request to be moved to another room with disdain and blank rude gaze. He literally had no empathy or understanding for the situation at all. He was the rudest and most smug person I’ve ever encountered while traveling over 35 years 30 countries. The manager showed me a tiny picture of the room he had behind desk that was laminated. It was a picture of the room where you could see the door to the bathroom, but nothing in it and he literally told me that that was showing that the bathroom shower had a glass shower. There was no way possible to see the shower from the picture. He also said that Booking wouldn't allow them to list it as open shower and that Booking lists everything. I am quite sure the hotel tells Booking what they have, not the other way around. It took about an hour of my time going around and around to try to explain that I should not have to pay 80 extra euros due to their lack of description. It was very stressful and put a damper on this day of our vacation. I looked later and found the photo actually does have a shower curtain but I didn't go back down to show the manager. I did my best to have a good time after my wasted hour.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and well appointed. The location was convenient for walking to the old town and driving to the castles.

The staff is welcoming, so many choices with the breakfast buffet, and the beds were extremely comfortable!

Only issue and it was my fault. Underground parking is tight like real tight. Bring a SMALL car. Breakfast was fantastic.

I already stayed in this hotel many years ago and confirmed the expectations. Location is perfect because you are at the beginning of pedestrian area so the centre is there. More car parking options. One private under the hotel and one public at 5 minutes walking or less. Hotel easily reachable with the cars. Breakfast very good with all you need.

Breakfast was beyond amazing, location is perfect for the trip. We enjoyed the balcony with a mountain view!
