Charming hotel in the heart of Füssen. Room was comfortable and warm, plenty of room. Parking available in front of the hotel. We didn't try breakfast or dinner, just behind the hotel is a large supermarket and 1 minute walk is a choice of restaurants, bakeries and cafes. The top floor rooms overlook the town and castle. There's a communal roof terrace which would be perfect for the summer.
No electric kettle in the room.

Located just outside the wall, exceptionally easy pull-off the highway and park if traveling by car. Yet less than 10-minute walk to the train station. Short easy walk to all the restaurants and shops in the old town. Across the street from a modern Rewe shopping center where you can stock up on booze, beer, wine, and goodies for daytrips to the castles and other local attractions. The staff was practically jubilant - quick with a laugh, and always ready to help. Delicious German-style buffet breakfast. Easy bus access to the castles with the free "Fussen Pass", not even 10 minutes away from the "Pulverturm" bus stop across the street. And the same bus line goes two more stops out the fantastical "Schlossbrauhaus Schwangau" beer hall complex with indoor and outdoor dining and a magnificent view of Neuschwanstein castle. Hotel HIrsch is a gem of a hotel that let's you absolutely maximize your time in the Fussen area.

The room was amazing. The decorations throughout the hotel were gorgeous. It was our favorite hotel in our travels around Germany. The room was large for 4 adults and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were lovely. We had a car so it was a short drive down to the castles. Town was wonderful. A beautiful hotel. Parking on site.

Our "Sisi" room was very quaint - we loved how they paired the furnishing of each with its own historical figure. The breakfast was fantastic. The desk staff helped us work through a challenging problem (at least for us) with our departure train itinerary. The location just outside the old city wall couldn't have been more convenient. The hotel itself was just gorgeous inside and out.
The WiFi was unsecured, and the capture page wasn't compatible with either of our iPhones. The desk really went the extra mile in trying to resolve the problem, but in the end I had to use all of my IT skill and help from Claude to come up with a workaround. The speed was also fairly slow once we did get connected. They really need to upgrade their entire system to meet current hotel standards.

I felt we had to provide too much personal information for each of our 8 members of our group staying. I understand rules are rules, but it was a bit much for what we are used to. All in all, we all agree that we would stay again without hesitation.

This hotel is almost a museum. It has a rich family history and a pleasant atmosphere that takes us back to antiquity. The breakfast is fantastic. Parking was easy to find next to the hotel. Overall, the staff are very friendly and polite.
An important point to note is that there is no mini-fridge, coffee maker, or hot water in the room.
