View from our room. Dinner the one night of three that we had full service was very good.
Buffet service two of three nights. Overcooked, dry meat and undercooked vegetables. Had to get up and find waiter to order drinks for main course at one of our meals. Exorbitant cost for water and wine. Children's play area directly adjacent to our table. Indoor pool area had no comfortable seating.

Only the spa
The dinner was orrible, the breakfast poor.
Even if the dining room offer a fantastic few and it was empy the hotel assigned to my family the “punishment”’table, 3 wooden walls and no view.
The assigned rooms were not the one in the pictures but look very old, we had to complain and the hotel offer us only ONE new room were 4 of us were hosted.

Very Good
Comfortable hotel located within walking distance of the lake and with amazing views. Good facilities in terms of gym, saunas and pools. Very good buffet style breakfast. Great location to cycle to fussen and the surrounding area.
In terms of eco - printed sheets of paper each morning for every breakfast table wasn't necessary and was a bad waste of paper and ink, lots of wasps at breakfast and around pool - there was a hive right by the door to the outdoor pool, quite expensive compared to other places.

Excellent communication through booking.com (thought we'd be later than the 6pm cut off but was reassured this was ok), greeted by the owner and felt welcome, room was clean and spacious, had a lovely field view from our room, food was delicious (discounted due to being a customer at the hotel) with amazing views from our table of mountains and the lake (Any table you sat at had the mountain and lake view!), the staff accommodated to our lack of German (Sorry) and spoke great English which we really appreciated and they were really friendly and informative, SPA facilities were easy to get to and quiet and we were happy that the Biohotel was family run, organic AND self sufficient!

Clean comfortable hotel in a beautiful location with excellent spa facilities. Plus points for us was tesla charger included in cost, we are a family of vegetarians and vegans and we're well catered for. Ate in restaurant for 3 meals, all excellent with great service. Staff very friendly and helpful. We opted for a balcony room for one of us which was amazing with views of neuschwanstein Castle and the lake and mountains. 2 other rooms were without the view but were large and comfortable.
No negative comments from us. Would recommend.

Breakfast was very good. Good selection of non dairy milk although sometimes supplies of food items ran out!
Free taxi to and from station, plus Fussen card allowing free bus travel. Excellent shower and very clean bathroom.
Although allocated a table in dining room on first day, this wasn’t always set up for us - had a feeling they were a bit short staffed. Other guests had their names on the their tables, this didn’t happen for us until our final day! We would have welcomed a little help with our luggage and locating parts of the hotel when we arrived. Layout of hotel was a bit baffling too - would have been nice to have a lounge area to enjoy and meet other guests. Meet and greet didn’t address us at all - we accept it’s a German hotel but felt quite invisible! Kettle in our room would have been nice, particularly as the very hot water tap in Wellness area was a health and safety hazard! Breakfasts were great but we only had 1 dinner and we didn’t think it was worth the money.
