Exceptional
Perfect location, amazing staff.
Most of the rooms are near a very busy street, ask for a room on the back part of the property if you like it quiet. Breakfast is OK, nothing special.

Wonderful
Staff was amicable, breakfast was very good, generous and convenient. Location was very good, near center, restaurants etc. The whole city is wonderful and plenty to do outdoors, weather permitting

The room was very large, I hadn't stayed in a BW in a long time and I quickly realized that it was a mistake. At least this one was top quality. Great breakfast and overall amazing stay

Good
The breakfast was very good and the location is great. The AC functioned well on a hot day. The staff were helpful. Everything was very clean and well maintained.
The hotel interior is dated with a lot of dusty rose and red. The two twin beds for a standard room, though not unusual in Germany, are not particularly comfortable. It would be nice if the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash instead of one all-in-one. Finally, compared to a hotel in Venice we recently stayed at for essentially the same price, this hotel is not a good value.

Wonderful
Everything from the staff to the food was excellent. Will definitely stay again.
The 5 naked men stood watching my wife in the gym instead of just getting into the sauna. Different cultures, but in the UK you would be arrested for that behavior. Put a towel on .

Very Good
Good location near the old town of Füssen, spacious car parking, good air conditioning, good Italian-style restaurant.
The extra bed (converted from an armchair) was broken and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Very Good
I really liked the staff - very kind and helpful. There was one blond gentleman who took the time to ensure that our car wasn't too tall for the garage - he used his own body (1.85cm!) to check (he was taller than our car, so all good ;)). He definitely was the personality of the hotel :) Also easy parking underground.
The room was clean but not CLEAN clean. LIke the headboard needed to be wiped down, there was spider webs in the corner. That said, most housekeeping people are given about 2.5 minutes to turn around a room, so always hard to give each room a thorough cleaning. Also one day it was raining hard, I smelled someone smoking in the hall and it was coming into our room - I think it was someone in housekeeping because it was coming from their housekeeping room; I am allergic to smoke and have asthma, so I called the front desk and they resolved it. I know housekeeping has a hard job, so I don't blame them for smoking, but just don't do it inside the actual building :)
