We had a wonderful stay at the Wessinger and will definitely be back!
Communication was easy from start to finish. The staff were very responsive, helpful, and friendly. Check-in and check-out process was smooth.
The restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed both lunch and breakfast there, and the service was great and welcoming. The attached bakery is a real bonus with a wide selection of desserts and breads. There’s also indoor and outdoor seating.
Our room had AC (as reserved), which was very comfortable. The hotel is pet-friendly, just message them in advance so they can assign you a pet-friendly room. There are grassy areas around the hotel that make it easy to walk your pet.
Parking was easy with safe street parking right alongside the hotel. Staff spoke English very well, which is helpful if you don’t speak German.
If you’re visiting Deutsch Bank Park, it’s only about a 14-minute drive. You can easily get an Uber from the hotel to the stadium, and taxis will bring you back without any issues.

The renovated part of the rooms are very good

Even though they say pets are allowed, check with them ahead of time. For me it was a problem and they wanted to cancel my room prior to arrival (at 10 in the evening) essentially leaving me in the middle of the road. In the end then fortunately let me stay and the room was Allright. Upon checkout they asked to pay extra on top of the rate agreed on booking.

Disappointing
The location, free parking, and the size of the room.
The room was not really clean. The sofa was very smelly and there was garbage behind the table.
There was a sticky spot on the bathroom counter. The room was also very dark.
The bed was comfy and seemed clean though.
The check in was complicated and the hotel is not barrier-free. (There is an elevator but stairs are needed to get to it).
Crib cost was €10.

bREAKFAST
Nobody explained us how to get in the hotel Sunday after 6 Pm, recepcion closed, we went out for dinner and had to wait more than one hour outside in the cold nignt until someone got out and we could get in. No emergency phone, nothing answering the bell.
