The staff were friendly and always willing to help, especially in the dining room. We also received excellent assistance and recommendations from the concierge.
The room was large, comfortable, and fully equipped. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well — it’s served in a beautiful dining room and offers a huge variety of food and drinks.
If you want, I can merge this with your earlier comments into one seamless full review.
For a hotel of this level, the soap and shampoo really shouldn’t be served from dispensers. They’re not easy to use and don’t match the hotel’s prestige — even though the products themselves smell great.
We also requested a 3‑hour late checkout and were surprised to be asked to pay 60–80 euros for it.

This hotel is centrally located in the old town enabling walking to many of the Christmas markets, restaurants and attractions. The gym is well taken care of with weights and cardio machines and the spa is wonderful with many options for both men and women saunas, massages, hair styling, facials and mani/pedi. The bar is so welcoming and comfortable and the on site restaurant is very good. A great breakfast provides a vast array of foods to help start your day.

Absolutely —Fantastic Stay!
We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! Everything was spotlessly clean, which immediately made the stay feel comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish.
I also fell in love with the décor and architecture. The entire property has such thoughtful, stylish design touches that give it real character. My room was surprisingly spacious, which made it even more relaxing.

The breakfast was excellent. The property is a traditional, historic 5 star hotel with wide stairways and hallways, marble floors and well maintained common areas. The room was comfortable and we liked being on the quiet back side.
It would be nice to have a simpler alternative for a light breakfast snack and a cup of coffee for those on the go versus a 44 Euro full breakfast. There is a paucity of coffee/breakfast spots in the immediate neighborhood, especially with indoor seating.

Beautiful, spacious property that lives up to its luxury reputation. Staff was gracious, present and helpful.
The room was uncomfortably warm at night with no way to cool it down without opening the windows. The room was on the street side, so outside noise prevented the option of opening the windows. The primary purpose of overnight accommodations is to get a good nights sleep. The room was perfect, and the bed was very comfortable, but the room temperature prevented a comfortable sleep.
