Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a pleasant location with a beautiful view of the river, and the historic building itself is charming. The surrounding nature and atmosphere were very enjoyable.
However, several aspects were disappointing. The hotel, perhaps due to the weather conditions, did not appear to be cleaned thoroughly, and there were visible dirt marks in many areas. In addition, the elevator was not working during our stay, so we had to carry all our luggage to the room ourselves. Inside the room, the door did not close properly, and we had to manually press the latch each time to secure it. The placement of electrical outlets was also very inconvenient — there were no outlets near the bed at all, which made charging phones difficult. At the coffee station, the coffee machine could only be used through an extension cord. There was no coffee provided, no napkins, and overall the room lacked essential items. The wardrobe was quite small and there were not enough hangers. The bathroom was also uncomfortable to use. The shower was placed awkwardly, and water leaked onto the floor. Towels were quite tired…

Clean and very cozy hotel! Our corner room offered a nice view of both the city and the river. Reaching Frankfurt city centre was easy, we rented bikes and got there in about 10 minutes using the bike/walking paths just outside the hotel. The location is excellent: relaxing, quiet, and perfectly connected (don't know about the public transportation, we did not use it). The rooms are extremely well soundproofed; you don’t hear anything from neighbouring rooms or from outside. A very nice touch was the Marshall Bluetooth speaker in the room for some music! The restaurant is also great, with generous portions and very good food. Highly recommended!
A bit more variety at breakfast would have been nice, but overall it was still sufficient :)
