The staff were rude. I was very sick and they would let me stay an extra half an hour despite that I was vomiting violently. Breakfast lady was extremely rude. Telephone in the room was not working properly and the shower was either too hot or too cold

You get a fair and standard package at this hotel.
I had a serious safety issue that could be dangerous and deadly. The cable of the iron was naked which is absolutely unusual in Germany and I noticed that just after using the iron. I could easily die if the naked part had touched my skin!!!! Such failures are not acceptable and shows a low safety standard in this hotel. The hotel must explain about it and prove such a mistake does not happen again.

Room was clean and comfortable overall. Good location next to the tram station. Shower was quite OK (although regulation of the temperature was tricky). No noise complaints (in the room at least).
Parking garage was very narrow for a medium sized car and 15 euros per night is quite expensive. The room was quite stuffy and warm, the airco didn't seem to be able to have enough power for a comfortable temperature. The breakfast ended at 10:30 but around 10:00 there was aeady a lot of food missing. Around 10:20 we often wanted to get another cup of coffee, only to discover that the coffee machine was already being cleaned and rolled out of the breakfast room. At 10:30 a lot of people were still enjoying their breakfast but the staff already came in with a couple of very loud vacuum cleaners.

Location facing the inner courtyard is very comfortable if you are a light sleeper. Double check the room category if you want to have a quiet room.
Gym is actually FitX and quite a walk away, so no real option in the morning. Breakfast mediocre. Staff is nice though. No fridge in the rooms and coffee tabs had to be bought extra - would be expected in a 4 star hotel.

noise from music on street below the room until 2 a.m.;
bathtub didn't drain well, about 5 cm of water in the entire bathtub soon after beginning shower and the morning staff didn't seem to think that was an issue that needed to be fixed.
