Wonderful
The room was very spacious and comfortable, the location was perfect for us since we stayed there to attend the Essen Spiel so we only needed to take a bus and the convention was just a few stops away. Breakfast was very good, great coffee and great food. I had an omelette both days for breakfast and it was delicious.
We were traveling with our 5 month old baby and the crib the hotel provided was not really suitable for a small baby (it was a play and sleep crib with a very low and thin mattress). Our baby used it just to play... anyway this was not an issue since the bed was very large with a firm mattress so our baby slept in the middle.

Disappointing
Clean
The smoking area is too far away and there is no chair. It is very cold outside, as if you are in the smoking area for prisoners and not in a hotel. What I did not like is the lack of a refrigerator in the room. One of the things I did not like is the lack of life in the hotel. There is no movement. There are only three or four rooms booked out of hundreds of empty rooms. Therefore, you find yourself in a scary and not comfortable place. The darkness and the lack of movement are really scary. There are no activities in the hotel, such as music or cafes. Phrases or not, it is only a place to sleep. Regardless of the lack of life in the hotel, it cannot be considered a tourist hotel, but only for sleeping. It is similar to a hospital or a prison. We can say that this hotel is a comfortable prison.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The parking payment system is a disaster. The ticket didn’t work so I ended up paying double.
There was no food available on a Monday evening. Restaurant was closed, the lounge bar didn’t offer anything either and restaurants nearby were all closed.
No coffee in the room.

Pleasant
It's a basic business hotel so was almost empty on the weekend. There is an underground car park next to the hotel which you have to pay to use but it is useful. 10 minute drive to the centre. There isn't a restaurant but there is a bar which was very pleasant.
Air conditioning - it made the air very dry even though we had turned it off
