Lovely staff, large room, very clean. Stayed overnight while travelling to Amsterdam. Great location in quiet residential neighbourhood.
The property was great. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open the night we stayed. Alternatives further away than we would have liked.

Nice hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Good continental breakfast buffet. Free and easy parking. Excellent bus connection to Messegelände Essen.
Room decor very standard, missed a bit of flair.

Excellent location, beautiful area with local shops close by. Also swimming pool close by as well. Hotel served wonderful breakfast and staff were very helpful.

This is a really classically styled traditional hotel. It’s really clean, and they clearly keep well on top of maintenance here. The room was quiet and peaceful, the bed was comfortable and I got a great nights sleep. The staff were brilliantly kind. I had asked in advance to store a bicycle, and this was remembered when I checked in and it was well accommodated.
The breakfast was lovely, with a good selection which I enjoyed. It’s really hard to find a fault here - it was great.

Tranquil location. Just out of Essen. 22 mins by car to Messe Dusseldorf.
Very convenient if your travelling by car and want to stay away from the bustle of a city. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Service with a smile.
On Saturday night there was a wedding party which went on till 4 am. It will pretty disturbing especially since I had chosen the hotel because of its quiet location.

Wonderful
We stayed for a week. The room we got was very spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. This is a family run hotel with a very good restaurant providing local cuisine. The continental breakfast is very good, we especially enjoyed bread and Broetchen as well croissants.
There was nothing to complain.
