The staff were helpful and quick to respond, the view was great and silent at night for sleep, the room was very nice and positive vibe and good sunlight at day. The resutalt was amazing, the burger was one of the BEST I ever had, the staff were super nice and Bastian was 5 star and took care of us every evening there.
The pillows ! They are absolutely finished and 0 life in them, I highly recommend the hotel to throw them out and buy a whole new set. I ordered 2 extra ones and they were absolutely the same

Nice hotel in the leafy suburbs. Directly on the tram line to the center of the city. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of parks in the area. Nice breakfast. Staff at the desk were very helpful. Great benefit to be able to get a VRR region train pass which gives you free access on all the regional trains, buses and trams.
Room was very spacious with lots of light but no light blocking curtain. (See photo). This made it impossible to sleep in once the sun was up. While not a big problem the kitchen staff did not speak English so I had to rely on my schoolboy German to ask for things. Also Note: late breakfast hours ONLY on Sunday, NOT Saturday. Not many restaurants are in walking distance. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as I prefer more casual/ inexpensive dining options. If that's your preference as well, don't miss the Schnitzel at the Tusem Athletic Club Restaurant nearby. It's open to the public.

Margarethenhöhe is a very unique place, full of history. And very quiet
The hotel from the outside looks very nice.
The rooms were clean but super outdated.
Nothing to feel comfortable. For a one night sleep it’s ok.
