The hotel is very close to the train station and not far from the city center. The room had a window towards the train tracks, but the windows were well isolated and the trains did not disturb when windows were closed. The breakfast was nice but nothing spectacular. Nice bed, large flat screen TV, small but okay bathroom. Good value for money.
Not much to complain about, but there was some noise from neighboring rooms and from the corridor.

Staff if very unfriendly, I arrived hotel 15 mins before the check in but Staff said, I cannot check -in even 15 mins before as the check-in time is 15:00. I had to wait for 15 mins. very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Close to the station and city centre. Staff were lovely and considerate.
Mouldy bathroom on tiles and around the windows, ceiling in the bathroom has some damp issues and broken plaster. Poor air circulation in the bathroom as the heater is timed for 2-5min. Showered in the evening and the next morning the windows were still wet. With the condensation dripping on the toilet roll and on the floor causing a small puddle. It was inconvenient having wet toilet tissue paper.
Areas in the room were a bit dusty.

The location is very good and the staff are friendly.
The room is too small especially the bathroom, the bed is super uncomfortable, and the breakfast is decent but not perfect.

The location is central and very convenient for accessing Essen’s main facilities. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, even during late-night hours. Weekday stays are offered at good prices, and despite the proximity to the train tracks, the room was very quiet with no disturbance from nearby rooms.
The double / twin rooms are quite small, especially the toilet and shower, and there was a noticeable lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Arriving during late hours from the central station may feel a bit intimidating, particularly for women.

Location.
Horrible property. First the reception staff sent us to a room where there was no heat. When I went back to them and asked them to change the room, the awful woman on duty tried to convince me that the heat will only come on when it’s cold outside. It was zero degrees outside! After arguing with her, she stomped off and asked me to speak to colleague, who then finally changed our room. The next day, we meet weed our new room to a strong stench of smoke. Clearly the housekeeping staff had smoked in our non smoking room. After complaining to the front desk about this, the person at the reception was least concerned! AVOID a this hotel.
