We were about 400 meters away from Essen Hauptbanhof which was what was advertised. This is perfect as we had heavy luggages. Check-in was easy. Breakfast was great.
The hotel had no WiFi which is unlike any other hotel I have stayed for the past 20 years. This is one of the most basic item any guest will be looking for.

lets just say it's seen better days. some Ibis you go to are sparkly. Others are tired. this was the latter
