Good size rooms well appointed bathrooms with one of the best showers Ive ever had in a hotel there was a nice feel about the whole hotel
parking was excellent we also had a good buffet breakfast
The bathroom had a condensation issue also it could of been a leaking window as we did have heavy rain but it didnt detract from our stay

Good size room and very, very clean. We arrived by car and the access to the entrance is very good, the hotel having its own drive. There was ample parking around the back on the premises of the hotel. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice for a continental breakfast and good coffee! Friendly host too. All in all plenty of reasons to come back to Das Lola.

Its very clean! Checking in and check put is super easy. Staff is dependable. I asked for some recommendations from one of the staff and she was gracious enough to put together a list of stores and places I could explore.
Theres no room service. I mean at night I sometimes need to drink an extra glass of water but theres no one to call for room service and groceries outside are closed. Bit of an inconvenience there but in totality my stay was amazing.

Location was with 15 minutes walk from Spiel Essen. Great restaurants nearby. Quiet and calm. Very comfortable room for 3 people.
It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit in the evening to play games (purchased at Spiel). Because of this, we lost some of the lovely social interactions with guests sharing games in the evening (which happens in other hotels that I have stayed at during Spiel)

On arrival we found out the name of the hotel was changed to 'Das Lola' so we were a little bit confused. Luckily there was a party going on and someone outside told us this was the correct hotel. There was no staff to check in so we did it via the via the information pole. We also added the breakfast option for 18 euro pp. The hotel was very clean and the bed was good. The bathroom was great and also very clean. Good shower as well. No coffee or tea in the room only two bottles of water. In the evening there was some noise from a party downstairs and the rooms are not super silent we could hear some noises from the adjacent rooms. The breakfast was really good, nice juices, good bread and with very good coffee. Only thing was the croissants were cold. From the hotel we did a 4km hike to a viewpoint at the baldeneyesee. Really nice hike. We ate at the Chicago Steakrestaurant which had a bit of mob vibes but the steak was really good.
see my other comments. All small stuff. In general it was very good. The view wasn't very special, we looked at the parking lot.

Hotel was light and airy, clean and well maintained. I arrived late and there was an intelligent automatic key dispenser to get the room key.

Good location, 15 min from fairs by foot. Nice and quiet street.
It's on booking.com as 4-stars hotel - absolutely no, 2-3 max on standards which are in my country and other countries I have been - maybe in Germany there is another ranting system. High price for such poor accommodation conditions. In other places in Germany for such standard prices ware much lower. I except **** hotel but for sure it wasn't.

It was a great shock to find this hotel unattended. A box outside provided a key upon payment. We seemed to be the only guests in a relatively big hotel. The images on the site looked nice, giving the impression there was a restaurant, but no. The next morning we found that there was a breakfast room and someone attending, but since we had not preordered, we were not expected. The hotel and Booking.com should have given better information about the situation.
To be alone in an empty hotel and due to the lacking facilities we had to go out and find a restaurant in the neighbourhood. Fortunately, we found an Italian place called La Bruscetta.
