Excellent as always. Lovely breakfast, room, pillows, bed clothing. Very reliable hotel in a city full of unreliable ones.
Price was a bit much.

Excellent value for the price. In the best part of the city, 2-5 min walk from every possible coffee shop, restaurant, grocery store and shopping! And train station is 2 min walk.

I like that there was parking available. It wasn't a very busy hotel. And its location is good in central. I was also really quiet. Had a nice view from the window. Also had breakfast which was great. Great coffee and a variety of German breakfast

Great hotel and location, breakfast was good. Staff was very nice and it was all easy. There was also an elevator to use.
The USB outlet by my bed did not work fast enough. I plugged in my phone at 1am at 22%. At 8:30am it was only to 43%. It was problematic because I was going to be underway all day and needed my phone and it was too late. I should have used the normal outlets but they were only available across the room

Hotel is off the Main Streets so there is no traffic and it’s quiet- even the rooms facing the street. Good location- half way between central Stn and the Messe- 15 minute walk from either one. Breakfast is OK, no lunch or dinner but it is one block from lots of cafes and restaurants. Clean and pleasant. Excellent value. I will stay there again

Top location in the elegant south of Essen, in Ruettenscheid, many subways, only 2 stations from Essen railway station. Many bars, cafes, restaurants nearby and an ALDI supermarket.
Very good breakfast buffet with lots of choice.
Modern, quiet, comfortable, clean room with fridge, modern bathroom.
Hotel still has reception. No need for door codes
Battery of remote control of TV too weak, too complicated use of TV with too many functions
Main door to hotel 24 hours open (safety ?)
Single room pretty small, but cozy and comfortable.
