The hotel had adjacent parking which was secure and cost approx £13 GB. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, even advising us on where we could get a decent evening meal in the town. Rooms were comfortable we decent showers which I always appreciate.
Loads of places to eat within a 10 min walk of the hotel for our evening meal (Ash = a good 'Steakhouse / Burger meal).
Breakfast was a good combination of hot and cold food with plenty of coffee and juices. Again the staff on duty in the morning were helpful and friendly.
The location / surrounding area was in the middle of refurbishment with lots of roadworks but that can't be helped and not really the hotel's fault.

Great receptionist + you can collect Marriot Bonvoy points, A/C actually worked flawless.
heavy road construction work with earthquake like eruptions, especially in the breakfast room where the dishes were shaking (but also with a vibrating bed on the 5th floor, stating at 6:30 am). Windows can't be opened, no coffee/tea/water in the room, no sill for the shower gel, no magnification mirror in the bath, carpet with multiple stains, very thin blanket-like duvet, breakfast with very little selection.

Location.
Cannot book parking and the carpark was full when we arrived just before 3pm (check-time). Around the same time. there were at least other 5 cars who tried to access the carpark and we all had to park on the street. If the carpark is so small you should allow reservations in line with room reservations.

It was clean and the room was nice.
Breakfast was great and the stuff really nice
On the wall above the windows, it seems it was forgotten to be painted (room 511). There were a lot of numbers written on it.
The carpet has some patches.
We didn’t sleep well ass the mattrass was very hard and the pillows too soft. (Would propose to add another pillow so you can choose).
For the price I expect these small things to be reviewed.
