Great location (city center), traditional building, excellent breakfast, friendly staff.
Entrance/ exit from the garage is rather narrow and it was quite stressful to get out as we did not notice the opening button downstairs (nit well signalled).

Very nice and clean rooms. Modern amenities. Also a big plus for the lower pillows.
The hotel is located in the city center, everything is very close by.
The room was located directly above the main street, and despite the closed windows, maintenance vehicles could be heard. If you are sensitive to this, it is better to ask for a room with a view of the courtyard.
If you are driving for the first time and using the underground garage, ask the staff to explain how to get out to avoid confusion.
The breakfasts were plentiful, but I would have appreciated some sweet pastries to go with my coffee.

Everything is great about this hotel: location, staff, facility, rooms, food. It is great value for what you pay. In particular the staff are so attentive and helpful and make you feel special. They go out of their way for you. The room sizes are big by European standards and well laid out. And you didn't lack for any amenities. I was so pleased with this hotel and it's been the highlight of my trip so far - as has Erfurt which is a fabulous town.
The carpet needs to be replaced. Everything was clean but the stained carpets in hallways (in particular) and in rooms gave it a dirty look.

My room and bathroom seemed newly remodeled and were very nice. Although my room faced a street with a tram line, it was not unusually noisy and I had no trouble sleeping. I was on the 7th floor. The hotel is nicely decorated and close to the interesting sights of Erfurt and to the train station. The breakfast was outstanding, the breakfast room was very pleasant. the hotel has a bar.
The mattress was very firm, I found it a bit uncomfortable to sleep on.

Usual choices in an adequate room, coffee machine worked well, nice selections. Friendly staff, most with adequate or good English. Spacious room with comfortable furniture. Walk-in shower. Lobby bar with beer and wine to end the day.
Bed too firm, could only get one mattress topper (which was comfortable).
