Location- 3 minutes from the train station, everything I wanted to see in the Old Town was a comfortable walk.
Breakfast- varied and delicious, the crispy bacon was a bonus, excellent cheese assortment, fresh fruit and veggies, something for all dietary needs, plus professional, friendly staff
Room- clean and comfortable
Staff- the blond lady at check-in, a chat about local restaurants and attractions with Mr. Schmidt, the young man at checkout, all were professional, friendly and helpful
Everything was great. Can’t wait to return.

Since I travel alone, I always select a hotel close to the Central Train Station. This was probably a luxury hotel from the 1800s but it has been totally renovated and it is gorgeous. Do not be intimidated by the huge staircase upon entering the doors. There is a elevator next to the stairs. The room was large with a huge TV. The lobby, sitting room and bar were beautiful and the free breakfast room as excellent and beautiful. This hotel exceeded my expectations.

The staff was fine
Everything else.
The room felt old and run down.
The facilities were not of 4-star quality. The elevator took 10 minutes for 2 floors. It was a shabby 3-star hotel, at best

large room in very good location. Erfurt itself is worth 2-3 days, and there is so much to see within easy reach by train (exit Bahnhofstrasse less than 5 minutes from the hotel).
very limited refreshment of amenities (ear cotton, coffee, sugar, clean cutlery)
