The hotel is integrated into Düsseldorf´s MERKUR SPIEL-Arena. The breakfast restaurant and the meeting rooms offer access & fantastic view into the stadium. The hotel is just a 15-minute underground ride from central Düsseldorf. It is within walking distance of the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition center and the CCD convention center. All 280 rooms are in a modern design and equipped with air conditioning, WLAN and some with refrigerator. In the morning you start with a vital breakfast, which is already included in the overnight price. The opening hours of the restaurant in the stadium and the Backstage Bar & Deli vary. I stayed for one night and developed a fungal infection on my foot. When I returned to my country, I saw a doctor. He said it was a fungus contracted from the shower. I definitely do not recommend it. Despite paying a high price, I ended up being victimized.

Position close to the Exhibition
To pay 500€ per night and nothing in the refrigerator, no tea set, no bedroom slippers and the pearl: only one towel for the shower cm 120x50. Only one to dry one body. and when I 've asked for two times to have at least 4 towels of that dimensions to dry after the shower they answered from reception that expected quantity is one per person. I can dry me after the shower even with papaer toilet... but don't ask me 500€ per night.

After the concert the way to the hotel was blocked off and it seemed impossible to find a way through. But we were patient and eventually found a way.

We stayed here for an AC/DC concert. The hotel is integrated into the stadium, so the location was perfect for us. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was great. Everything was clean and well-organised.

The location is excellent especially if you want to attend an event in the arena. It literally removes the hustle to come and go back to city center with public transportation with that crowd. We left our room 19.30, concert started 19.42 but we were at our seats at 19.40 :) Breakfasts was included and it was pretty decent too.
Although it is understandable, the prices go way way up on event days due to high demand.

Room was a decent size
The aircon didn’t work in the room, it was sweltering. So much that I could not sleep as it was switching off every 45 minutes. When I complained the next day the receptionist was not apologetic at all and told me that I should have called down to get the handyman to fix it. I told her I am one solo female traveller, I am not going to ask a male stranger to come into my room in the middle of the night. She just shrugged. To pay £230 for one night of no sleep was a total rip off and I was only there for 36 hours which ruined my whole trip as I had no sleep or rest at all. After I complained, another guest also made the same complaint about his room which showed that this is a known issue in the rooms and they did not bother to fix it.
