Have to say a special thank you to the lady with glasses on who worked the night shift (sooty can’t remember her name) they only have a coffee machine now. She went and got me a kettle and fresh milk so I could have a cup of tea went above and beyond thank you so much it was nice to be a valued customer

We knew the hotel from former stays (quite a few one-nighters, over the course of 5 years), but this time we had to stay for a few days instead of using it strictly for getting our early flights. So we were able to use all facilities, have a few meals and the breakfast there, and use the hotel for work.
We were pleasantly surprised: While not cheap, the breakfast was outstanding, and the evening meals were great (they even had the right choice of "Altbier", the local speciality beer, on tap).
Work was a breeze, with great WiFi, a good chair and worktable in the room.
Add to that great beds, a super quiet room (at the airport!), a very clean bathroom, and a super friendly staff ... what more can you ask?
Bottom line: We'll happily return the next time we're in Düsseldorf.
I personally prefer a walk-in-shower over a bathtub, but that is my purely personal opinion. And now I'll better stop with nitpicking ...

The hotel was clean and nice...but...
We ordered steaks in the otto restaurant and they were bad, mine was ok ,the one of my wife was impossible to eat...
The waiter didn't even ask once if we're happy...
The girl in the bar didn't know how to make any of the cocktails in the menu...
I stayed in the same hotel a couple of years ago and it was great...
This time it was sad and definitely a waste of money!!!!!!

There are only two positive moments in the hotel: location right in front to the airport and friendly staff. But this isn’t covering negative moments.
It was truly awful:
- extremely cold in the room, I got sick after one night (I had to sleep wearing a warm robe + fully covered with a blanket). One of the receptionists helped me the switch on the heating on maximum, but it didn’t help.
- even colder in the bathroom. The ventilation in the bathroom is super strong, it feels like a wind. You can hide from it in the shower cabin (because there is no proper cabin + the ventilation is all around the walls). Also you can’t switch it off, it works all the time automatically.
- no chiller and no kettle in the room. I think, it is a must for a 4-star hotel.
- loud music in all corridors. What is the purpose of that? Obviously people in a hotel next to the airport want to sleep/relax before/after their flight.
- flakes of dust flying around the room, lying on the radiators and in the bathroom between the ceiling and the ventilation
- food in the hotel restaurant was eatable for a very hungry person, but very far from being healthy and tasty.
Overall I have the impression that the hotel’s managers never ever traveled by themselves and have no idea what comfort is.

A very comfortable bed, quiet room. Nespresso machine to have a coffee with a early flight location is super, 2 minutes from the airport.
