Location walking distance to Messe
Initially we were allocated a below ground room with no outside view, completely enclosed without even WiFi. Were moved but second room not much better. Rooms poor, very basic and very dated. No information on dining times etc. Requested drinking water for room, waited and waited and nothing came. Could literally hear everything in adjoining rooms, kept us awake all through the night.

Exceptional location. Close enough to downtown Dusseldorf but yet having the openness of being a bit away from the hustle and bustle.
My room being located 1/2 floor below cannot enjoy the view of the Rhine river.

Location easy to find
- The staff is inexperienced, quite unpleasant and unable to deal with complaints.
- No lift.
- Very bad insulation in the room. It was freezing cold.
- I booked in advance and asked for a room in the calmest area of the hotel. I was given a room with very noisy guests above my room.
- The friend with whom I was travelling made her room reservation for the same room category as mine, on the same day as I, and we discovered at the checkout that her booking rate was 30% lower than mine (we have the same booking genius level). I just tried to understand this difference by asking the receptionist the reason for this and the young lady was quite rude with me. In addition to not being capable to answer my question.

This hotel is a gem. Very well located, with river views and a promenade where you can enjoy the views both of the Rhine and the city.
The hotel is impeccable, and the service is very friendly and professional. The room was spotless and had all the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The breakfast offer was varied and very complete and with the views from the restaurant the experience is unrivalled. It is definitely a place to return to.
As for location, the hotel is between the center of Düsseldorf and the airport, which makes it ideal for all types of stays.

Restaurant and terrace right next to the Rhine, very nice location.
Friendly staff, good food.
