Good location, just a small walk from the train station. But also close to the Mitsubishi Electric Halle, so ideal for a short stay and visiting a concert. The automatic check-in panel in the hotel unfortunately didn’t work, so after filling in all the info, it froze when we wanted to pay the city tax. But we could check in with the lady afterwards.
Rooms were clean and most of the noise from outside is blocked because of the isolation, which is good as it’s near a busy road.

accommodation did what it had to do, not much more and not much less.
the heating was cranked to 25C when entering the room. the first night we could barely sleep because it was way too warm. had to have the window open throughout the whole day in the winter just to have it cool off a little at night.

Able to park there (for a fee). Room was spacious and comfortable. Perfect for what we needed as a base to explore Dusseldorf and Essen. The staff at the front desk were great help. One guy even helped us to find takeaway food, looked things up for us and offered to help us order something to be delivered here. The location was easy to find. Everything was cleaned each day we were here.
