While this is not a luxury hotel, you actually get a luxury, excellent treatment. Congratulations to all staff of the hotel, in particular the restaurant team - the breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of choice, and the persons working there very incredibly efficient. My room was cozy and clean and very calm - really good sleep! The location is perfect, in between the Altstadt and the central train station. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those who appreciate the right service-to-cost balance.

Prime location very close to Königsallee, spacious, affordable parking garage ("Q-Park GAP 15," unfortunately cash only and no 50 euro notes) diagonally across the street. The room was very modern and clean, with a great bed. Good soundproofing and a good blackout curtain. Breakfast was excellent, and almost all the staff were really friendly. Fast check-in!
€10.50 for a glass of house wine is simply unacceptable; you won't find that price anywhere else on the Königsalee itself. The restaurant has a rather basic menu and is decorated in an old-fashioned way, but fortunately, there are many other restaurants nearby. All the staff we interacted with before checkout were genuinely friendly. The German woman at the reception desk at checkout last Saturday not only looked unkempt but was also unfriendly, not only to us, but also to other guests who, in her opinion, couldn't find their way to the breakfast room quickly enough: she became angry. That's why the score is not 9.0 but 8.0.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were professional, kind, and always ready to help. The location was excellent close to everything I needed and easy to reach. Overall, a very good experience.
