Very Good
Breakfast was delicious and we could really chose what to eat on the buffet but also extras were offered. Everything was according our expectation. The room were big enough and warm.
The only thing that I missed was an option to make something to eat in our appartement they were cooking plate but no cooking pot.

Wonderful
Great place to stay and very good value for the price. Comfortable rooms, great owners, and nice decor.
The only issue is that there aren’t any places aside from one to get dinner in the area. However, that’s also understandable as it’s a residential area.

Exceptional price. A second staff member was friendly upon my arrival.
I had overlooked the strict checkin time l, my bad. In particular, I had assumed that a checkin at 21:00 was possible these days, so I had not bothered checking details in the booking confirmation. Again, I realize this is my mistake. Then again, even after I had sincerely apologized repeatedly, the lady on the phone did her utter best to make me feel guilty of the low price (shouting in German that she would have to pay 30 Euros to staff and thereby not earning enough on my stay). Among others, I was suggested to be a cheap*ss when I dared to ask whether street parking was possible in that part of the city (especially since I was already checking at at 5AM). My recommendation is to simply charge more and to always remain friendly to travelers. I had booked the room to bridge a short night before an early flight, so the main aim was to avoid stress and fatigue. The incredible tone of the lady on the phone had puzzled me for many hours, partly defeating the goal of my booking.
On the positive side, the room was absolutely worth the price and the area is great to have an evening walk/run.

Best host I had in a long time! We had breakfast and it was made with love and attention to detail and my friend even received gluten free bread! 20 min walk to the Harbour and a tram right around the corner! I will definitely stay there again when I visit Düsseldorf.

It was our first travel with our baby, so we were quite stressed. Everything went very smoothly - the room was big, with a crib, warm, quiet. The beds were comfortable. We could keep baby milk in the fridge. Internet worked well. The location was a plus - the hotel is located in a neighborhood that looked quiet and safe, the parking had lots of room (12 euro extra). The tram stop to go to the center was in less than 5 minutes by foot, and then it's about 15 minutes by tram. The tram tickets can be bought in the tram itself (there is a ticket machine there), or later I discovered a public transport application in English, with plenty of ticket options, we took a 24-hour option.
The breakfast is served during weekends, but we preferred to eat in the center. There is a boulangerie in 50 meters (we didn't go there, for the next time!), and a local restaurant in 200 meters (good traditional food, but closed on Sundays).
We liked Dusseldorf a lot and would like to come back.
We liked everything, but a water boiler would be great to drink a hot tea after a long day.

Superb location, very near to the port (Hafen), very lively and modern part of Düsseldorf. Value for money and available parking!
Bed could be more comfortable but overall the hotel is very nice.
