It was clean
The breakfast choices were rather limited and expensive. We reserved 5 rooms and faced several issues. The safes in the rooms weren't operational, and despite alerting the reception, nothing was done to rectify this. Furthermore, the coffee machine in our room was on the blink. On the whole, it seems the hotel's maintenance is a bit below par, given the number of things not working properly.

The location is quiet, which is nice
The room wasn't properly cleaned or turned down. Coffee was also not replaced after the first night. Do not disturb sign on the door was ignored by the cleaning staff.

I was in the Innside suite. The room was clean, simple, and well kept. It was of the size as shown in the photographs. The breakfast was good
When I reach the hotel, which was around 10 PM, the key to my room was not working, apparently, because of an upgrade, I had to visit the reception at least five times, before the manager was involved, and I was given the key. Apparently, when we were not in the room, a key maker Was called. Several people open the room in our absence and and in this entire process, I lost a beautiful Michael Kors wallet with money and all my cards in it. While I do it really dont wish to blame the hotel staff for this. The key not working experience was really not up to the mark, and this is making us believe and think all kind of things

Disappointing
I recently stayed at this for the third time, and sadly, it was a mixed experience. During our previous visits, we were extremely satisfied and left glowing reviews. However, this time was different. I had specifically requested a quiet room due to my husband's recovery from a stroke. Unfortunately, we were assigned the noisiest room in the building, resulting in two sleepless nights. To make matters worse, there was an issue with our key card. Only one night was activated, which meant we couldn't access our room after a long day. My husband had to wait in the corridor while I sorted it out at reception. I addressed these concerns through email in the middle of the night, as loud music prevented us from sleeping. The response during check-out was disappointing. While they offered a choice between a full refund of 1 night or a more comfortable stay in the future, being non-residents of Dusseldorf made the latter less feasible for us. I opted for the refund, only to be offered a 10% refund instead. This left me feeling like our concerns weren't taken seriously. I share this feedback not for compensation, but in the hope that future guests won't encounter similar issues. Clear communication and resolution of concerns are vital for a positive guest experience.

We are not the first time in this hotel. Everything was okay in the previous trips.
The staff was not helpful this time. We took the room with harbour view and there was more view in other people rooms/apartments than on anything else. When asked the staff they said that there is nothing they can do. Not okay response and not okay approach. My collegues took deluxe room (not caring about the view) and had beautiful view on the harbour.
