The hotel is inside Düsseldorf Hbf itself, so it's very convenient for the trains. It's a bog standard IBIS hotel, so you get what the basics. They're all there, but it's nothing fancy of course. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Price was a little steep for an Ibis, but it's still cheaper than the surrounding hotels. Nothing special about the hotel as such. It plainly serves its purpose to have a roof over your head for a night or 2.

It was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. The staff were not helpful at all, and the room was in very poor condition. It honestly felt like I was staying in a Keller (basement). Overall, a very disappointing experience.

A bit shabby. The rooms would require a renovation. The key card reader in the elevator works very badly, need to be tried a few times before you can press any button (they know this and told me already during check in). Even though I told them that I will arrive late they already deactivated my reservation and had to reactivate it - was not an issue but a waste of time around 4 in the morning.

They were great from when I called for information only two days before the stay. There's a reception open all night, so I was able to check in after midnight, which might save somebody a sleepless night when the DB is up to shenanigans again. The staff was very helpful and uncomplicated. The room is great, the personal bathroom is a great feature. The price is very cheap, considering the hotel is directly at the main station.
There were a few rowdy people on the same floor, which made me painfully aware of the badly insulated walls/doors.
