The location is convenient. Nice British style with particular pictures.
I understand that it's Germany, however it's a hotel and with such a name I expected a much better level of English. Didn't like the rush of an early breakfast, limited spots and the poor selection of options. The final bill wasn't initially correct and I paid extra, even though later on received back the money on the card.

It was very clean and the interior design was beautiful. The location is also perfect if you're looking to spend most time in the city centre.
We had heavy luggage and there was no elevator.
The makeup mirror in the bathroom was too high and not suitable for use for people below 1.68cm. Also the light of the mirror was broken.
There was no tall mirror. Only mirrors for your face or upper body.
Also the parking costs were 18 euros a day instead of 16.50 as listed in recent reviews, so they increased the price.
Breakfast was most disappointing of all. Because of the small space, we were given times lots to eat breakfast (one hour max). This was not nice. We felt very rushed and one of the staff even asked a person sitting next to us to finish up her breakfast so that others could eat. For a four star hotel asking this much money, this is not acceptable. Also, the staff was cold and unfriendly during breakfast service because there was either only one person working or two. The workload is too much for the staff during breakfast. They have to setup the tables, clear the tables, cook eggs for all the customers, check in customers all at the same time. Also, the coffee was very watery and was filtercoffee. Again you do not expect this from a four star hotel.
Also people were told not to sit outside during breakfast (despite the beautiful weather) otherwise the staff would have to walk too much. This takes away from the experience and feels very limited and almost like you are in a ward during breakfast. The atmosphere during breakfast was very somber at times.
Personally we think they should reorganise the table set up and go for square tables instead of circle/oval tables. Also increase staff members, add some lounge music and allow people to have breakfast outside during beautiful weather. And last but not least, I would strongly advise a real coffee machine.

The room was very nicely decorated! The beds were super comfortable. We did not eat breakfast but it looked delicious. The staff was very friendly. We had a very nice stay.
Everything was better than expected. However, there is no lift. It was no problem for us, but I’m not sure it is being said in advance.

Location is very convenient: S-bahn connection, several U-lines, in walking distance from Little Tokyo. The hotel is very nice and beautiful. We didn't mind the stairs, but we also didn't have any suitcases with us. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee was great! For breakfast there were eggs (you can choose how you would like your eggs to be cooked), Müsli, waffles, vegetables, fruits, different types of cheese, spreads and meat etc.
The room itself was very clean, a lot of place to store your things. Spacious and very nice bathroom. Great working air conditioning - it just saved us when it was +35 +37 outside.
The room is missing a few things: a mini fridge and a tea kettle.

Ideal city location, with nearby tram. Parking in adjacent premises. Stylish presentation on a British theme.
The stairs are very steep so if that would bother you, then check you are booking an appropriate room.
