Nice location, clean and practical/small room. Very kind staff.
There was no air conditioning. Entrance door is always closed, need to ring the bell or use room key.

The hotel might seem small to many but it is exactly as you would expect in terms of the feeling for a Boutique hotel, and we were very happy that it was a small hotel. It gave us the calm and serene feeling that we appreciated a lot. Our room was room, properly equiped with dressing drawers and wardrobe. The bathroom was a bit small, but was clean, modern and perfect for being insuite. Appropriate breakfast was served, attended by the staff, Got my eggs freshly done as I wanted and served with a pot of brewed coffee. The rest of the breakfast spread was good indeed given the size of the hotel. The staff in general was very helpful and pleasant. We noticed after the first night that the refrigerator was broken. But they turned on the bigger wine refrigerator in the common space and let us use it. There were no glasses or mugs in the room. But the next day, the cleaning staff must have noticed the mistake and replenished them without us getting a chance to complain. This showed that they were also attentive. We had a very nice stay. The locality is a calm residential zone and yet good restaurants and bars less that 5-10 mins walking distance. A bus stop adjacent to the hotel takes you to the closest tram stop to downtown. A block behind the hotels is a promenade along the water, a must do routine after breakfast if it is not pouring down.
There is honestly nothing to complain with our stay. But if we can be picky we would say "The ventilation". It was quite warm when we were visiting and it got very stuffy inside, opening the window did help a bit, but I guess it is an old building so may be not much that can be done. May be a fan could have helped?

Room was incredibly small, I didnt expect it to be that tiny. Bed was not very comfortable and the wifi kept dropping, TV channels didnt work. For what was quite a high price, I was rather disappointed in being unable to actually use the room for much else except sleep (and not too comfortably).

Nice location, very clean and practical room.
Due to the time of the year, Prowein brings a lot of people to the city. Some guys tend to get too drunk and make a lot of noise. Not the Hotel's fault though.
