Disappointing
We stayed for two nights. The AC wasn’t working properly, so we had to change rooms for the second night. Manager Fernando did a good job, but overall the hotel was disappointing. Since Nikko left, the new owners have let the hotel decline. Some rooms are really old and need renovation. We hope they will improve for the future. The location is perfect.

Very good location in the Little Tokyo street . All Japanese shops and restaurants right next to the hotel.
Too much people in the hotel. There was no place at restaurant in the night and waiting for lift was infinitely all the time.

pool water was cold and staff didn't tell us about cheap parking option breakfast was not good first they said 20 euro next day when we went they said price has changed to 25 plus bed was not comfortable plus AC wasn't working in room so opened windows and it was to noisy and lost our bag from lobby

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially the waitress in the morning. Room was spacious.
Room was very hot, airconditioning did not work. Called receptionist but nothing to do about it. Windows cannot be opened as well. Elevators are terrible

Upgrade. Was next to the street. Traffic on all hours off the night. Also stayed with 2 adults 1 kid, only had 1 towel. TV’s also are not working.

Disappointing
Breakfast was great and the team of Breakfast were so friendly and nice, special thanks to Nadine for her hard work. We loved also the fact that they have bottle of champagne for the morning, very nice touch!
Location of the hotel was perfect.

Unfortunately many things, starting with the reception staff which was our first impression of this hotel.
Very cold welcoming and 0 explanation was given.
I had to ask all the details myself and even then not everything was well explained.
One of the reception in the evening shift laughed hard when my husband simply asked for a body lotion cause i forgot mine....How rude is that? I work as a receptionist myself in a 4 star hotel and I never make our clients feel embarrassed in any way! Unacceptable.
About the lift, it wasn't so familiar to use and we saw other clients stuck in it for so long not knowing where they were going because again.....no directions were given at the check in for them too.
For the spa,
Apparently they forgot to give us the access to it on the check in and another very sweet lady at the reception gave us the keys..
the pool wasn't heated so we didn't even bother to swim we just left. This wasn't indicated in the site if I'm not mistaken. You would expect a heated pool in a wellness area specially in such time of year..
As for the room itself, didn't look like it was cleaned properly, dust in the room / hair in the bathroom / pillow covers were wearing off and same for the blanket and in my opinion it's not hygienic at all..
Overall..disappointing as we were looking so forward for our stay..

I recently stayed at Clayton Hotel and had a really pleasant experience overall. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a smooth and relaxing stay.
What really stood out to me, though, was the service at reception. A special mention goes to Tomoko, who checked me in. She was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. After a long journey, it made a big difference to be greeted with such warmth and efficiency. She handled everything quickly, answered all my questions clearly, and made me feel immediately at ease.
It’s not often that one person can shape the first impression of a hotel so positively, but Tomoko definitely did that here.

The location, staff, room service
The furniture in the room 201 is dated, the paint is coming off, some old scratches and patches every where. Also the room’s view is looking at the unkept wild bush of what seems to be an old inner yard(?) The lawnmower was there abandoned the whole time.
Last time we were in 104, room was in a much better condition.
