The location is good, it has the advantage of the underground parking.
Unfortunately, our stay did not fully meet expectations. Although we were three guests, during the first two days we had to call each time to receive three sets of towels. On the first night, we also had to request a third duvet and pillows, as only two single sets were initially provided.
The room lighting was inadequate, with flickering bulbs, and one sink was partially clogged. We reported this to both maintenance and reception twice, but the issue remained unresolved during our stay.
The spa area could also be improved. There were no clear instructions at the entrance, the stairs leading into the pool were uncomfortable, and the pool water was rather cold. Additionally, for guests who do not speak German, orientation in the spa area can be challenging, as information is limited.
Overall, the level of proactiveness from the staff was below what we expected. Although they acknowledged the issue with the sink, there was little follow-up, which gave the impression that the matter was noted but not actively addressed. This did not fully reflect the level of service the hotel seems to aim for and contrasted with the Japanese hospitality one might expect, especially in Little Tokyo.

The location
This is the 4th year in a row that we chose Clayton but unfortunately it will be the last time. The towels were stained (yellow big spots or small black spots, hard to show in photo) everyday even though i called or went down to reception to mention. Reception was always very crowded because they were always short staffed. 1 person at reception and a line of 10-12 people waiting. The elevators were impossible to get on to. Minimum wait time was 10 minutes. We had to use the stairs each time. We had 2 different rooms booked and both rooms were very dirty. The dust on the bed side table a lot. Such a pity that this nice hotel turned this badly. Will not stay here again.

My experience at Clayton Hotel was extremely unpleasant. The receptionist treated me with a complete lack of respect and professionalism. He asked me to vacate the premises with my one-year-old twins and find another hotel simply because I questioned the reason for being charged an additional amount beyond what I had already paid through Booking.com. This experience is not something I would wish upon anyone. I ultimately paid the extra amount in order to avoid further humiliation in the presence of my children.

Housekeeping. They forgot to change towels, they don't throw away the garbage. For the entire stay, they did not change our sheets, when I said at the reception we had to change them ourselves.

This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life. We called the police twice because we did not feel safe. Hotel management could not care less, I wonder what would have happened if any guests were injured by the aggressive people roaming the hotel. We first complained about the noise to reception at 11:30 PM, and it continued all night until we just couldn't take it anymore and checked out at 5AM. Cigarettes and marijuana smell throughout the hallway, some guy following me around, trash everywhere. Stay away from this place, as I believe it is a threat to people’s safety and the hotel staff couldn't care less.

I like that all shopping center were within walking distance. The location was great and convenient.
The ACs in the rooms do not work. We had to switch rooms and even the second time we switched the ac still did not work so they brought a ventilator for us which was annoying. Also we stayed for a week and house cleaning was horrible. They would only come in daily and fold the blanket nothing else. The floor was always dirty in our room they didn’t do any cleaning daily in our room even though we requested it. Also some of the reception agents who do check ins were really rude. One the the ones who check you in for breakfast literally took an extra 10 euros once I paid for breakfast and she said your all set and I had to “remind” her to give me back my change and once she did she had an attitude the whole time we ate breakfast and was rude.

Most of all the location was perfect. You could walk all in Little Tokyo, which was very convenient and wonderful Restaurants. The staff was always very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is beautiful.

Location close to the central station and city center.
This hotel is very busy arranging everything the way THEY want without any regard for what guests want. Slow serving in the lobby while servers were busy greeting friends, crazy and bad elevator system without any explanation, climbing 3 stairs between the locker room and the pool, charging 15 euros per day for a pool that is closed most of the day anyway. Being sent away from our chosen table at breakfast "because that table is only for big families" that never came. Etc. Etc.

The location was very nice because there's a lot of restaurants, supermarkets, fast food & bus station Dusseldorf was approx 6-8 minutes walking distance
-I paid additional 10€ to get access to the pool.But the water was so cold that I only stay less than 5 minutes in the pool

The bar staff helpful and informative when we asked questions.
Single bed covers even though we had a large bed. No coffee for the coffee maker and we asked for pods and given the wrong size, on our last day we received the correct size . The cover had an old bandage stuck on it when we arrived. The room was ok, but very cold. The elevator on check out we had to use the fire exit due to waiting time for elevators. - when we arrived we couldn’t even get food in the hotel as kitchen closed so had to order uber eats then told its not allowed to eat in the table downstairs told to eat in the room. Unfortunately , wouldn’t stay here again.
