The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathtub was a great bonus. The bed was a little softer than I personally prefer, but still comfortable.
The breakfast was good and simple for this type of hotel. I booked it for one morning and enjoyed it. I also liked the bookshelves with books in German — it was a nice and authentic touch.
The hotel has a charming old-fashioned atmosphere. You can borrow an umbrella if needed.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the character of this place.
The TV channel organization was a little confusing, and some channels were not working, but this was not a problem for me as I do not usually watch TV.

I was there for parookaville so it being close to Dusseldorf central station helped
The shower screen to small and I didn't realise they charged for what you drink from the mini fridge. Other hotels give you complimentary stuff.

We checked in a little early but then a service man entered the room said he needed to replace toilet seat. We waited he said it was a problem to fix he left then came back 2more times. .on the 4 time he came back the man a front desk came with him to look...
We eventually said we would go out which we did for a few hours. When we returned there was a new seat but the room and bathroom reached of cigarettes smoke..we phoned the man at reception and told him we were not happy about it and it must have been the serviceman....we also let the lady know in the morning when we left.
Very disappointing stay.

Everything was good, and I did not have any problems during my stay. The room was quite cozy, and I especially liked the panoramic windows.
