The room was very beautiful, clean and exceeded the images we had seen. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions.
The breakfast had a lot of options, including several types of bread, like sweet and croissants. We enjoyed the wide fruit and vegetables bar and the seperate table with English breakfast!
The hotel is quite noisy. At night a German couple was having a loud argument and we woke up while all the doors were closed.
But this isn't the staff can do something about.

The staff was welcoming and understanding. It changed our booking after a glitch on booking.com which changed the dates of one of our colleagues, but not for the other.
The hotel does not have air conditioning, and the rooms were uncomfortable to sleep in during the hot days. The rooms look in two directions - half of the rooms overlook the inner yard, whereas the other rooms looked over the street. Since there was no AC, the windows had to be open during the night, which in turn made the nights noisy due to cars and vans passing below. One of our rooms was next to the exterior hotel sign and the curtains did not help with the light coming from the sign. Also, the hotel rooms need to be refreshed - they feel as if in the 90's - even though they seemed clean.

I have been using this hotel every time I come to Duesseldorf. Very closed to Rhein river for walking or jogging as well as shopping and dining areas.
The staffs are not all time available.
Some rooms’ equipment has to be replaced such as mattresses, hairdryers etc.

Room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. It had a slightly larger than single bed with single duvet.
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, particular thanks to receptionist who found me a 2nd night at another hotel close by as Cascade was fully booked with travelling fans for that nights Euro 2024 game in Düsseldorf.
