The location was good, close to the parc and the city centre. Nice decor, comfortable bed and a good breakfast.
The elevator is small and because of that not very convenient, but we only used it for getting the luggage in and up.

Service was nice and welcoming. Location is good.
For me personally the room turned out to be older than expected by the photos, everything seemed worn out, and it definitely needs renovation. I didn’t enjoy my stay and was glad that I didn’t need to stay more than 1 night. Also note that there is no parking provided by the hotel, you need to use street parking or nearby garage (25€ per 1 day).

It was nice and clean. Our deluxe king room was nice design and spacious. The bathroom could have used a bit of remodel but it was very good price for value seeing we were there during a huge event in the city.
It would be nice with some small extra amenities, like body lotion, separate hand wash, body wash and schampoo and conditioner instead of a 3-in-product. And perhaps a vanity kit like cotton buds and rounds. The elevator stopped working which is not ideal for those not able to walk up stairs.

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – fresh, delicious and very varied, with plenty of options for everyone. Everything was well prepared and there was always more than enough available.Our room was also fantastic – spacious, comfortable and very well maintained. The bathroom was particularly impressive, as it was large and very spacious, which made our stay even more comfortable. A special compliment goes to the lovely lady who prepared and served the breakfast. She was incredibly friendly, warm and always smiling. It is truly a pleasure to meet such kind and positive people during your stay. She definitely made our morning even more enjoyable!

I booked very late and was happy to get a really nice room on the top floor with views over the rooftops. Location ideal, 15 mins walk to the old town. Very quiet area. Just a shame no bars or restaurants/shops in the immediate area as is residential. Enjoyed my stay and would return.

Location is OK.
First of all, the room was completely dirty. Pillows were stained with reddish spots, we found hair on the bed and inside the bathroom, and there was black mold growing near the shower cabin. Walls were also stained black. Secondly, when we asked for our money back, reception staff told us they wouldn't be able to refund us because we paid through Booking. Initially it was also implied that the situation was our fault because we had spent 45 mins in the room before coming down to complain. Basically a bunch if blame shifting in my opinion. So there we were, without a hotel room during the busiest week of the year for hotels in the Ruhr area (Gamescom), and unsure if we would be receiving our money back. In the end, Booking support came through for us but this experience has definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this hotel unless you're open to getting scammed. It looks nothing like in the pics. My advice is to stay away.
