Exceptional
The property is clean , very central and in walking distance if you are here for an event . The rooms are all decorated and designed individually and even the smallest room has flair and personality . The breakfast was absolutely delicious and not to mention the gem of an owner who is so very nice.

Comfortable bed. Cosy room. Kettle plus tea and coffee provided. Good breakfast with plenty of choice - the vast array of different jams was particularly impressive! Quiet location, about a 15-minute walk from the main station. Wi-Fi worked well and the desk was big enough to work at comfortably. The free chocolate balls in a jar in the lobby was a nice touch.

Great hotel and easy location to rail and airport and near to the Parkrun (if required) and Volksgarten park. But nice comfortable place and good location to Town. Very friendly staff
Noise from residents in garden who simply ignored signs asking people to keep it down a bit late in the evening.

Handy for parkrun and good links with Düsseldorf and airport. And good gentle cafe nightlife on neighbouring street
Noise from other residents on wooden stairs and talking loudly at unsocial hours and particularly late night noise from garden from residents. Single beds shoved together to make double room. Compact room. Seemed mostly clean. No coffee. Noise from garden

Disappointing
The room was nice, and the hotel in general is very well designed. Also, the district is pleasant.
The host guy was sarcastic and unfriendly.
Just an example: when I asked for more milk for my coffee, he started to clarify why, because 'I already have enough'. And some other things. I read other reviews afterwards and 100% understand what people meant.
Finally, I found myself not willing to talk to him.
