The owners were so nice. The room is clean and spacious enough for the price. The location is really good.
There’s no stairs, but it’s not rare in Europe.

The location was great, the room was big and comfortable, the staff are really nice and helpful.
A lot of stairs to get to the room, no air conditioning in the room.

Our room didn't get too warm (great for Summer travels) and there was no outside noise despite being located centrally. The location was excellent and we felt very safe! There were also many restaurants within 10 minutes of walking.
We were very close to the bathroom and could hear the door open all the time because the door itself was loud. But other than this, there was no big disadvantage.

This is a really nice basic hotel in a fantastic location. Maria the owner could not have been more helpful and provided some great information for me.
There was nothing I didn’t like about the accommodation but if you’re not good with stairs there’s a lot to walk up.

Maria, the owner, was excellent. Very helpful and informative. Room with private bathroom was simple (as shown in the photos) but very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I'd highly recommend.
The reception and my room are/were located on the 3rd (4th in the US) floor. There is no elevator, so those less physically able may want to look elsewhere.

I booked a room with private bathroom and it was amazingly comfortable. View to the lovely street with so many trees. It is a well located place. It’s just like 5-7 minutes walking from Düsseldorf Hbf and that is great.
And last but not least, Maria was exceptional in attention and details. She just heard my problematic air trip from Washington to Europe lol and helped me to outcome the day that I couldn’t spend at my room. She is Spanish and one of the loveliest girl that I’ve ever met.
No elevator. But considering that is an old building I didn’t have any problem.

First of all i want to thank Mrs Maria for the great welcoming, really she is a very nice and helpful, I wish she can read this comment. The hotel was perfect for me. The location of the hotel is located in the heart of dusseldorf and near many attractions and landmarks. The hotel is clean and the room size is very good. I highly recommend this hotel foe the coming guests and touriests. There are many shops and resturants near the hotel, laundry is available also very close to the hotel. Generally i can give the hotel 9.5 out of 10. Thank you Gastehaus Grupllo for the great stay, thank you very much Mrs Maria and i hope all the best to you ... Family ran business, absolutely fantastic location that’s not far from the main station and the city Center as well. 100% safe, next to one of the oldest beer bars in town. Special thanks to hosts themselves, they are very kind, service oriented and the most important passionate about what they do! Definitely will be back

The customer service over booking.com is awful.
Almost like talking to a computer.
You can sometimes hear doors slamming in the morning. It depends on the schedule of the other people staying.

The hospitality of Maria and how she accepts me as a customer. She assisted me on how I can manage to visit their city as well as guiding me and providing me with a map
Not that matters but house renovation starts at 8-9am as much as I wanted to sleep more but i cannot since they are hammering and drilling anywhere. So i dont have a choice but to wake up

Small simple and cosy room, exactly what I was looking for. Owner was unbelievably helpful with directions and what things to do during my stay. Bed was comfy, bathroom was clean, plenty of storage room for such a small room. Perfect stay
