10th time staying, always good experience. Location is super (amazingly central but quiet) room comfortable and staff helpful, friendly and professional- call out in particular to Xaver. Breakfast not included so can't comment on that. Some of our party used the spa facilities and thought they were great.

Good breakfast. Great location. Free Wi-Fi. Hotel refunded one of the three nights on account of all the issues found.
Barriers on road - intercom not working, so waited for ages whilst causing a traffic backlog with hooting drivers. Showers stunk on arrival (dirty drain smell), ran water for 10mins, it was then OK. Staff forgot to charge our electric car, even thought we requested it in person. Staff walked into room after not waiting to hear it saying its OK to enter. Our family could have been changing. Staff new and inexperienced, said we could choose to pay on arrival or after. We selected after. Staff then sent a letter mid-stay stating we must pay by COB on 2/3 night. Unpleasant experience. Childs bed was hard. Child bed is uncomfy. Aircon stopped working after the first night. Safe battery was dead, asked for it to be changed - it wasn't. Then asked again next morning, but on account of it being a Sunday there was no maintenance staff at work to sort it out.

The room was nice, if a little small. It was quiet at night, which is amazing considering it's right in the Altstadt. The artwork everywhere was beautiful. It was nice to have complimentary drinks in the minibar.
There was one desk chair and a thin uncomfortable window seat. So for two adults, one had to sit on the bed, since there was only the one chair. We'd rather have had two arm chairs instead of the desk.

Good selection at the breakfast menu. just thought by closing it at 10:00am was a bit early. Its vacation time, not business time. Room was fine, but wall and cealing in wood is not really my preference, it makes it sticky and very warm in summer.
