It is a beautiful property. It can be such an amazing 5 star hotel but it really misses the mark with so many things.
Security is a huge disappointment. Not only can anyone walk in and take an elevator to any of the floors, there is not one lock inside the room. There isn’t a lock on the door handle or a bolt on the door. It is kind of insane that the security was so lacking. There were times when we walked in the lobby and no one was at the desk - they were back in the office and we had to yell out for assistance. In my opinion this is unacceptable. Especially since anyone can get on the elevator without a key and go anywhere in the hotel

This is a beautiful building! It is in the best location in town. Accidentally tripping over with my coffee going over the Rolls Royce.
No curtains in my top floor room, no mini bar, no biscuit with the tea and coffee, one tiny body wash not enough for only 1 use, the jet shower mostly blocked, no Smart TV (I suggest the hotel there limousine Rolls Royce car and uses the money to improve the hotel), many breakfast tables not cleared, the manger had no authorisation to decide on a refund for the 2nd night, the manger asked did I boke trough booking agent, which I did and as such she said she could bot investigate the problems, but it was not possible to book direct to the hotel. She said there was not authority higher than her to authorise and she would need to seek to a higher person at the hotel, which I found very hard to believe, and I have still not received a reply to my 2nd night cancelled booking refund. This is a beautiful building! It is in the best place in town. It is very surprising how it can be so bad. The staff were miserable compared to the Amigo Hotel in Brussels. I am okay with paying €500 a night but it must be excellent for this price, I suggest the management stay at the Amigo hotel and learn how to run a hotel.

The location.
I forgot my earrings in the room and they did not do a serious effort to find them. Otherwise, the room lack’s comfort and the bathroom was too small. It’s not what is expected from an hotel of this rank and price.
