The hotel looks beautiful and stylish, with paintings on the wall, good facilities and welcoming staff.
The location, though central and comfortable, backfired at us on the weekends, when Altstadt is very noisy and there was barely any sleep at night. Closer to the end of our stay, the AC stopped working, and we were moved to another room.

Location is fabulous. Despite it being in the Old Town it is quiet. Bar and breakfast staff are lovely; the interior design of the hotel is amazing; the business rooms are well appointed and spacious.
My room on the fourth floor was incredibly uncomfortable and stuffy, hot and smelled musty. Especially the bathroom. The shower jets did not work as they were covered in some green mould and need thorough cleaning. The air con did not work and it was too hot to sleep. I would not recommend those in the summer as one cannot open the window properly. If I had stayed in a business room I would have given my stay a 9.
