I loved the location in the Altstadt! It was my first time to Germany and Dusseldorf, and I had no clue it was a holiday, so things were wildeight outside the door! But this is exactly what I came for, so it was an extra bonus!
Will definitely stay again!
Totally not the hotel's fault with the holiday, but sleep would have been impossible if I wasn't up u til the morning myself.
Again, can't be helped.

Complaint About Design Apart Hotel
The accommodation lacked all the amenities that were mentioned on the website, such as a coffee maker, kettle, table and chairs, and an iron. Getting assistance was nearly impossible as no one was available to help. The noise from the nearby bars made it difficult to sleep. The price was extremely high, there were too many stairs, and both the rooms and hallways were dark. Overall, it was a very unpleasant trip for us.
It is suitable for young partygoers who get drunk in bars all night and come to sleep in the morning.

just location
The room we stayed in had an unused door, which we didn’t think much of at first. However, when we returned to the room at night, we realized how important it was! There was only this door separating us from the neighboring room! As far as we understood, this door used to connect the two rooms, but they turned it into two separate rooms by closing it off.
First of all, there was a kitchen right behind this door, and when we entered the room, the smell of garlic and fries from the neighboring room had completely filled our space. In the freezing cold, we had to keep the window open for hours to air out the room. But the smell wasn't the only problem—we couldn’t sleep all night due to the noise coming from the neighboring room.
The only good thing is the location.
I do not recommend it to anyone.

Room was nothing like the pictures as it was supposed to be a double bed and a single bed as there was 2 adults and a child. They gave us a room with one bed which we then got moved room but was to a single bed and bunk beds which wasn't what we booked and was nothing like the pictures. Room very basic and not up to my standard. No kettle in room and not even enough cutlery etc for 3 people, so unable to make food for 3 of us even if we wanted to.
Location good as next to all Christmas markets etc and everything is within walking distance but with it been on a very busy, roudy street it is awful for noise and you can hear the noise and vibrations of the clubs untill 5am in the morning. It's not only noisy but the street then gets covered in glass from smashed bottles and glasses outside. I never review anywhere normally, but I would never stay here again!! Soo dissapointing.

Location to Christmas markets
Noise levels under estimated. Music in night club below blaring to 6am causing bed to vibrate so no chance of sleep. Bathroom dirty with a broken shower screen so flooded. Staff non existent and have ignored my complaint

Location is very convenient. Appartement is comfortable
Very noisy street, even earplugs were not enough to cover the noisy crowd.
It may be difficult and costly to fully soundproof the room but some hosts on bookings do mention about noisy surroundings as a more accurate description.

The check in process was a mess. No front desk. No hospitality. The room was stark and cold. No heat. The hallways were dark and lighting was poor. The room was highly overpriced for what was offered. The on-line pictures are not equal to what the property offers once in the door...if you can get into the door!
