We loved the location of the hotel, the staff's attention and the hotel's breakfast. If we come back, we will stay at Hotel Alt Dusseldorf again.
The pillows could have been a little thicker.

Location Breakfast buffet was generous
One low wattage lightbulb in an unclean ceiling fixture. So dim we couldn’t see inside our luggage. And one desk lamp on a chair. Long black hairs in the shower.

location is ideal for city center. Close to the metro station. room was spacious.
2 narrow staircases to get to the room, with no elevator.

The people are great and the location is hard to beat. The value is off the charts. Breakfast was included and was typical european breakfast with youghart, fruit, meats and cheeses as well as cerials coffee and fresh OJ.
The rooms are small and the bathroom is a bit cramped. This is just something to know before staying here.

The reception was very welcoming, all our requests were met, breakfast was superb and we had a quiet, excellent sleep. The manager was exceptional in her help to us as we couldn't find a bike lock key- she used all her resources and within no time had helped us solve the problem . Unbelievable response:).Many thanks!

- Good breakfast (buffet) - Clean room - Friendly staff
Wifi was very bad. You had to stand close to the door to get internet. Not suitable if you need to work. There's a bar under the hotel. It was very loud until quite late/early in the morning. You could even feel the vibration from the bass.

Wonderful
The location is top: in a busy tourism area full with bars and restaurants. The hotel is 15-20 minutes walking from the train station. Main shopping streets and the promenade is in short walking distance. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast and even offers free ice cubes to take to the room on hot days. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Personnel is very friendly.
