Close to the railway station, code for key and wifi well-communicated before arrival, cleaning was diligent.
Smoker-smelling room, creaking bed, old mattress, cheap overused bedsheets, no safe, wardrobe on its last legs. Naked power outlet in the bathroom.

Close to center and station, cheap
I now that facilities would be outside the room. I didn't know that there was not even a washbowl in the room. Also the door auto-locks, so I have always been afraid that I might lock out myself at night when going to the toilet. (Fortunately this did not happen.)

Don't expect much, but rest assured that the minimum is there. The bed was clean and the shower was hot. Value for Money in my book.
A reading light is something essential to me. Here there was only a single light point, of the kind used to lighten football stadiums.

Location is really great. Just across the main station, and near the city centre.
Of you are travelling with luggage I don't suggest it. No elevator, but staircase is not ideal to Go 3 floors up with luggage.

The room I hired at Goldener hahn Hotel was full of insects ,small cockroaches and sorts of ants even on the sleeping bed , embedded within the pillow, I didn't sleep well ,I had to take my shoes and keep the insects everytime, I'm telling you they need to clean and disinfect their rooms. The lady at Reception was not really paying attention at all at my needs, not showing interest of helping at all . However the location is 100% best.

Location was perfect. Cleaning staff very friendly.
THERE IS NO ELEVATOR!! A lot of disgusting red stains on the walls right by the bed and on the ceiling (dead mosquitos?). The rail in the shower was hanging loosely from the wall. Extremely noisy, could hear the neighbours word for word. Bed was very lumpy (but soft and reasonably comfy). When I arrived staff had forgotten to send me the key code, no one was there (even though I arrived before closing time) and the phone number in the window was incomplete. Did not see any staff aside from cleaning staff during my entire stay.
