Location was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel itself looks old, not in a good way. We were given a very quiet room with not such a good view, even though the hotel is huge and looked half empty. The price was a bit too much for what we got.
The hairdryer in the bathroom did not do a good job at all, we ran out of shampoo on the 2nd day, our view was not great, the hotel corridors look old and outdated. I believe our room was a bit overpriced taking everything into account.

Perfect location, clean, nicely furnished room. Quiet, bathrobes and slippers without charge. Friendly and helpful staff, good gym and pool for modest charge.
Sauna was not turned on at 16:00 as scheduled, and much too small.

Very convenient location on the river, with easy access to both the old and newer parts of the city. The tram stop was just around the corner.
The breakfast buffet was more expensive than most places we stayed, so we ate out.

The rooms were well appointed, clean and roomy. The pedestrian zone - across from the hotel offered many good restaurant choices. The breakfast buffet was extensive and had great choices.
The breakfast room became very busy at around 0900 hours on Sunday morning - not surprisingly. I would avoid peak hours for breakfast when the hotel is full.

The staff were friendly and always ready to help if I had any questions. Plus the free upgrade was awesome! Also, they are pet-friendly, and they asked if I needed anything for him. The hotel provided a bed and a water bowl. Which he did not use cause the bed was so comfortable.
The hotel is a labyrinth. But it was fun to navigate.

The hotel was located right on the water with a beautiful view. Check-in was easy and the staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was lovely, clean, quiet and the beds were firm but very comfortable. We loved the indoor swimming pool and appreciate the snuggly robes and slippers. The central location of the hotel was perfect - the tram stop was a minute away by foot. Many restaurants, cafes and shops were within walking distance and the museums were right across the bridge ( 15 minute walk or 5 minute tram ride). We highly recommend this hotel!

Fabulously appointed hotel throughout, including the bedroom. Superb views of Altstadt and river Elbe from breakfast room as well as from our room.
Breakfast buffet we rate 10/10 for variety and quality.
Very comfortable furnishings and attractive decor in the bedroom.
Walking distance to Neumarkt shopping district and easy tram ride to Altstadt.
